Vivienne Westwood knitwear

I often urge students to look at Vivienne Westwood’s knitwear for their designer-maker study because she produces some fabulous handknits in interesting shapes –  a lot more exciting than yet another Rowan pattern book designer!

The pics below (are photos taken from photos so not very good quality) show some of the knitted things seen at an exhibition at the Harley Gallery near Nottingham (we drove all the way up there from Dorset for the day,  just to see this exhibition & it was well worth it).  You can see how she has used Feather & Fan (knitted sideways, in M8) and Embossed Leaves (M3).
