This student has an arts degree, so her approach is bound to be more confident and painterly than usual – so PLEASE don’t think this is what is expected of the two knit design exercises in M6. She was keen to explore the inspiration around her immediate area and produced the artwork for her own pleasure. It is interesting to see how she interpreted and combined the images (arches, brickwork, floor tiles, ironwork, colours) into knitting and developed / progressed different areas. (the house is a converted Victorian railway station in Ireland)
