Presentation at the V&A

It was a great day and we had a surprise visitor, the National Chief Verifier (and our External Verifier) Margaret Walker arrived to present the medal and Jayne’s certificates.  I am told I was very visibly shocked when I saw her!  To have three high ranking C&G personnel there was really special.  Gary filmed the presentation and we will get it loaded asap.  Sadly Kerry injured her knee on Friday so couldn’t make it and several students had to cry off at the last minute but a big thank you to the students who came along, I really, really appreciate you being there for what was a very special occasion.

Debra told of her forthcoming trip to Buckingham Palace on 9th June to receive an award from The Guild of Haberdashers at a tea party hosted by Princess Anne.

    It really was a great day. I probably look a bit shell-shocked in the photos, it was such a lot to take in! I’m very grateful to everyone who put in such a lot of effort behind the scenes to make the award and the presentation happen, and to those who came along to join in the celebrations yesterday. Very special memories, I can’t thank you all enough! xx
