C&G Level 3 Cardigan/Jacket assignment

This is the last task for the L3 course, so a cause for celebration.

This was an interesting approach, the student decided to study tailored riding habits and produce a fitted jacket.  She lives in Ireland and wanted to use traditional Irish wool tweed yarn.   There was a LOT of stitch and technique sampling done and much tinkering with a dressmaking pattern as the basis for the shape.  Extensive use of toiles gave a perfect fit.

I just can’t get some of the photos to load so this is a bit of a patchy set of images – sorry. The research & design was done using Scrapnote software and emailed to me.
