This exciting set of samples didn’t actually make it to the final cut, an alternative inspiration, brief and design were used. This happened because I wanted the student to explore the design possibilities more widely – rather than sticking to one stitch pattern (as this had been the case in the cushion assignment). But it is a great example of experimenting widely within a technique / stitch pattern and I hope she will eventually use it.
