Hope everyone managed to do Christmas in some form, even if it wasn’t the way you planned and hoped for. Just staying well seems the biggest festive goal at the moment!
I was so organised and well prepped that there was very little to do on Christmas Day, which felt disconcerting!
Disappointingly for us, our long-planned retirement (me) celebration trip (Japan, China, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, Middle East) has been called off. Cruise company Oceania cancelled the cruise part of the trip (because the refit of our ship, Nautica, was postponed this year due to Covid lockdowns) so we decided to cancel the rest too as it would be too complicated to alter everything. I was particularly excited about spending 2 weeks travelling in Japan and we had already booked lots of things. Doesn’t seem much point in booking anything else at the moment. SO, those of you on the final leg of your course will be able to send me work whenever you want, until the end of March.
